Rates
We will discuss fees during our COMPLIMENTARY/FREE initial, in-person ,45 minute session.

Insurance
Services may be covered in full or in part, by your health insurance carrier or employee benefits plan. Again,  as I stated before, please check your coverage carefully, by asking questions that relate specifically to an " out -of -network mental health services provider ".  I do not accept insurance payments " on assignment "/ directly, from health insurance carriers. You reimburse me after each session and they reimburse you, depending on their specific contract with your specific employer. With the current exception of GHI, Medicaire and Medicaid, I am an acceptable ' out -of - network mental health health services provider ", for most insurance companies. If you use your insurance company for reimbursement after paying me, you would submit the insurance forms, monthly, to them and I would help you with this process.  Following, are the questions to ask your insurance carrier AND the human resources/personnel department of your employer:

  • Do I have mental health benefits?
  • What is my annual deductible for mental health benefits? Also, is my annual deductible for mental health benefits different from my annual deductible for other health services and if so what are the deductibles for each?
  • How many sessions does my insurance plan cover for mental health services ( individual, marital and family )...per-session, per year and per lifetime?   
  • Is a referral or approval required from my primary care physician?

 

Reduced Fee
Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.

Payment
Payment is requested after each session.

Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, do not call and there is no emergency, then you are required to pay the full cost of that session. If you do call, then you can make up that session within 2 weeks. You would, in this instance, still attend your regularly scheduled session/s during that 2 week period. If there is an emergency that requires you to cancel on the day of your session , then you do not have to pay for that session. We would, however, try try to make-up that session, if possible.
